**Job Title: Mechanical Installer II** **Job Description** This role is for a Mechanical Installer II, a more technical position requiring candidates with mechanical aptitude. The position involves working with hand and power tools and requires prior installation experience in areas such as machinery or robotics. **Responsibilities** + Install 20 robotic arms, approximately 40 sub-stations, and internal site fencing. + Perform tasks on mezzanine and sub-mezzanine levels, including using power tools and running materials up the elevator utilizing a pallet jack. + Support project teams by commissioning, cleaning warehouses, and building robotic arms and stations. + Use pallet jacks to move, strap, and catalog materials. + Use hand and air-powered tools to commission towers according to diagrams. + Follow step-by-step instructions for installations. + Run wiring for power supply, material handling, and general labor tasks. **Essential Skills** + Ability to lift 40-50lbs consistently. + Experience working 8-hour shifts on hard cement floors. + Good attendance and punctuality. + Ability to take direction well. + Willingness to work in various roles, from inventory management to housekeeping. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with robotics or machinery installation. + General labor experience in construction, loading, packaging, and cleaning. **Why Work Here?** Gain valuable insights into the material handling industry and the installation of advanced robotic devices. **Work Environment** The work takes place in a distribution center under construction, which can be messy, loud, and crowded. Employees are expected to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. Attire includes PPE such as a high visibility vest, glasses, hard hat, gloves, and composite toe shoes or boots. Jeans and t-shirts are acceptable, but avoid loose or baggy clothing. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Windsor, CT. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
