The Mechanical Engineer Co-Op position offers a valuable opportunity for students to gain practical experience in the Mechanical Engineering field. The Mechanical Engineer Co-Op will work with Mechanical Engineers to provide knowledge and consultation developing HVAC system solutions for the customers’ problems, including financial and performance-based solutions. The projects will be wide ranged; including but not limited to: HVAC piping, Industrial piping, Plumbing, Sheetmetal, and Equipment replacements. **Essential Duties & Responsibilities** **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** + Attending company meetings to discuss work in progress, corporate issues, budget plans, business plans, andmarketing plans on agreed-upon schedules. + Assist Mechanical Engineers with engineering retrofit, repair, and replacement mechanical projects + Assist Mechanical Engineers to determine client needs and develop an engineered solution. + Follow up with project managers on the status of engineered work. + Assist Service Technicians with job site problems. + Assist Mechanical Engineers by relaying prospective solutions to clients. **WORK ENVIRONMENT** The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
