Mechanical Engineer

This Mechanical Engineer will support the development of new products and tools by driving design, engineering analysis, documentation, prototyping, and continuous improvement efforts. The role requires strong technical capability, ownership of project execution, and the ability to ensure designs meet performance and manufacturability requirements.Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and engineering milestonesPerform engineering analyses (design reviews, FEA, material selection, tolerance studies)Identify process gaps and propose improvementsPrepare scopes of work with budgets and project objectivesCreate and maintain engineering documentation (CAD models, drawings, BOMs, test reports)Estimate and track engineering hours for internal projectsLead prototyping, testing, and evaluation of design conceptsEnsure designs are reliable, manufacturable, and meet performance requirementsApply research, analytical thinking, mathematical modeling, and CAD toolsMentor junior engineers and contribute to team developmentSupport continuous improvement and Lean initiativesStay updated on industry standards, safety regulations, and emerging technologiesQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field)5+ years of engineering experienceExperience with polymers/plastics, including injection or compression moldingProficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred)Experience with engineering analysis tools (SolidWorks Simulation, ANSYS, etc.)Familiarity with mathematical tools (MATLAB, LabVIEW, Excel)Strong problem‑solving and analytical skillsAbility to communicate complex technical information clearlyExcellent documentation, organization, and attention to detailStrong decision-making skills; able to work independently and meet deadlinesProficient in Microsoft Office

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $89000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
