Mechanical Engineer
Job Description **Who will you be working with?** We are an experienced engineering team in the rail transit industry, providing customers with passenger information systems and related products, bringing them convenient and comfortable experiences with advanced and reliable products. The design team has gathered talents in system, hardware, software, mechanical structure, testing, etc. Through the team's efforts and dedication, it meets the customized needs of customers. **How will you make a difference?** As a member of the mechanical team in the R&D department, you will be responsible for the product structure design in the project and resolving any issues related to the product at any stage. Report to the mechanical team leader and engineering team manager **What do we want to know about you?** 1. Engaged in completing machine research and development work, and independently designed and completed several product structure and appearance schemes 2. Familiar with the characteristics of commonly used materials (plastic, sheet metal, etc.), able to select materials reasonably according to different product requirements. 3. Understand the structure of PCBA and be able to coordinate with hardware planning for PCB layout and external dimensions. 4. Understand the basics of thermal design and mechanical analysis and possess the ability to design heat dissipation. 5. Experience in waterproof, dustproof, and EMC product structural design. 6. Familiar with the common types of surface treatment processes for metal parts and understanding each surface treatment process. 7. Proficient in using office software and possessing document editing skills. 8. Proficient in using 2D drawing software to design machining drawings, product outline drawings, Etc; 9. Proficient in using at least one 3D drawing software (inventor preferred) and have a certain understanding of management software vault or TC (team center). 10. Proficient in English and able to communicate with foreign colleagues over the phone in English. **What will your typical day look like?** 1. Participate in the design of product solutions. 2. Develop structural plans, validate and introduce new structural technologies, and enhance product reliability. 3. Undertake detailed design of product structure, components, and packaging, and output complete 2D/3D drawings 4. Undertake the preparation of the complete machine BOM and sketch the wiring diagram. 5. Develop and guide the prototype. 6. Conduct tolerance analysis and design for manufacturing and assembly and provide technical support during product mass production. 7. Provide support for various tests such as EMC, safety, and reliability, and conduct relevant validation tests. 8. Solve problems in product development and track them. 9. Collaborate with hardware engineers to design the overall hardware of the product and export PCB layout diagrams. 10. Complete other temporary tasks required by the leader.
