Job Title: Mechanical EngineerJob Description Join our production engineering office as a draftsman where you'll primarily focus on creating and updating engineering drawings, performing minor changes to CAD models, creating manuals, and establishing SOPs using SolidWorks. This role is ideal for an Engineer I or II who is eager to apply their skills in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities + Utilize SolidWorks CAD software to manipulate and assess production models. + Create cut packets for tubes and structural members. + Develop machined component drawings. + Collaborate directly with the production line in a fast-paced environment. + Work alongside a team of engineers. + Demonstrate self-motivation and a willingness to learn. Essential Skills + Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD software. + Experience with CAD software. + Ability to create engineering drawings and perform updates. + Knowledge of wire harnesses and production models. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with bill of materials and Sigmanest. + A positive attitude towards teamwork and gaining experience. + Motivation to learn and a passion for the industry. Work Environment Work typical hours from 7 AM to 5 PM, totaling approximately 45 hours per week, with the potential for overtime. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Yuba City, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $41.00 - $51.00/hr.
