Mechanical Engineer
Job Title: Mechanical EngineerJob Description We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team, focusing on 'Enhanced Construction Administration' for projects such as CUCF-CUNY projects, including LGA Community College and Macaulay Honors College. This role requires an individual with 3+ years of mechanical design and construction experience, preferably closer to 3 years. The position offers a hybrid schedule with the opportunity to work on-site two days a week. Responsibilities + Participate in the mechanical design and construction of projects. + Perform site assessments and field work. + Create and review detailed engineering and construction reports. + Collaborate with teams to ensure project success. + Utilize AutoCAD for design tasks; familiarity with Revit is a plus. Essential Skills + 3+ years of mechanical design and construction experience. + EIT certification or in progress. + Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit skills are beneficial. + Strong communication and organizational skills. + Self-motivated with problem-solving abilities. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with tablets. + Knowledge of retrofits. + Understanding of AR heating units. Work Environment The position offers a hybrid work schedule, with three days working remotely and two days on-site. Enjoy incredible views of the water and the Statue of Liberty.
