Job Title: Mechanical Engineer Job Description We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support tooling development and processes alongside an internal test cell program. This dual-role position primarily focuses on enhancing tooling while collaborating with the team to develop and execute the test cell program. Responsibilities + Develop, manufacture, and repair tooling. + Source vendors and qualify processes. + Catalog and convert blueprints for customized tools. + Execute and document root cause analysis reports. + Manage and maintain engineering equipment and tools, including 3D printers and plotters. + Adhere to quality, environmental, health, and safety protocols. + Manage, operate, and maintain test cells. + Compile data and execute appropriate reports. + Develop and execute new procedures. + Oversee the creation and repair of test cell-focused tooling and fixtures. + Support calibration program and inventory management. + Assist in engine repair efforts. + Edit and create manuals. Essential Skills + Engineering degree. + 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or repair-based environment. + Expertise in tooling and fixtures. + Proficiency in process improvement. + Strong root cause analysis skills. + Experience in the aerospace industry. + Calibration knowledge. + Certification experience. + Repair skills. + Familiarity with calipers and micrometers. Work Environment This is a fully onsite role from 9 AM to 5 PM, involving both office space and repair floor work. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Margate, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.87 - $48.08/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
