About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team and support the development of high‑quality, manufacturable products. This role collaborates closely with sales, manufacturing, and cross‑functional teams to deliver robust engineering solutions, validate designs through analysis, and support continuous improvement initiatives on the production floor. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in SolidWorks, strong analytical capability, and hands‑on experience with metal fabrication and product development.

Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with sales and manufacturing teams to develop customer‑focused solutions and ensure manufacturabilityConduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and engineering calculations to validate design performance and robustnessParticipate in peer reviews to maintain high engineering standards and design qualityEngineer and detail designs using SolidWorks, manage documentation through PDM, and define production processes using ERP systemsSupport manufacturing by troubleshooting production issues, implementing corrective actions, and driving continuous improvementContribute to team development by sharing knowledge, participating in training sessions, and mentoring junior engineersRequired Skills & Qualifications3-7 years of experience in mechanical design with advanced proficiency in SolidWorksExperience performing Finite Element Analysis, preferably using SolidWorks SimulationStrong understanding of metal fabrication and manufacturing processes, including welding, machining, and heat treatmentproduct development engineering, from concept through production

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marlboro, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $47.00 - $60.00/hr.
