As a Mechanical Engineer, you will solve problems through design, analysis, and documentation. You will work closely with our sales and manufacturing teams to develop solutions to customer problems and ensure your designs are manufacturable. Witness your creations come to life, proving their toughness to withstand the rigors of industries such as construction, rigging, mining, and offshore. Participate in a peer review team to ensure best-in-class production. Use SolidWorks software for engineering and detailing designs, PDM software for documentation, and ERP software for component and assembly production. Contribute to a manufacturing support team to troubleshoot production concerns while supporting continuous improvements and corrective actions.

Your role will include mentoring and guiding junior engineers. You will have a cubicle in the engineering department but will frequently be on the manufacturing floor. The role requires practical involvement, necessitating steel toe boots. Occasional travel to customer sites, approximately 20 days per year, may be required. This family-owned company has been in business for 70 years, with 58 employees on site and a history of long-tenured staff. The company designs and manufactures high-capacity rollers and custom moving solutions, serving a wide range of industries including aerospace, defense, renewable energy, academia, OEMs, and construction.
