This role focuses on mechanical design, engineering calculations, and technical documentation for skid-mounted systems, pressure vessels, and piping-heavy equipment. Engineers are involved throughout the full project lifecycle and work closely with drafting, estimating, project management, and fabrication teams. This position is ideal for an engineer who values practical design work and a highly collaborative, onsite environment. ResponsibilitiesDesign and engineer custom oil & gas equipment and skid-mounted process packagesPerform mechanical calculations for pressure vessels and piping systems (ASME, including B31.1)Develop and review PFDs, P&IDs, layouts, and supporting engineering documentationCollaborate closely with drafting, estimating, project management, and fabrication teamsSupport projects from conceptual design through fabrication and delivery Qualifications and RequirementsOil & gas industry experience is requiredMechanical engineering background preferred (degree or equivalent industry experience)Experience with pressure vessels, piping systems, and fabricated equipmentProficiency with SolidWorks and AutoCAD (SolidWorks preferred)Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, onsite engineering environment Benefits and PerksCompetitive base salaryMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with employee ownership participationPaid time off starting day oneLong-term career growth and stability Your New OrganizationYou’ll be joining a privately held, employee-owned manufacturer specializing in custom oil & gas processing and production equipment.
