Essential Duties & Responsibilities Familiar with different HVAC system types and their applicationsHVAC systems selection, sizing, and design (ductwork and piping)Experienced with Mechanical Codes and Energy Efficiency StandardsEngineering experience with energy efficiency, developing or supporting performance-based projects or energy servicesPerform Heating, Cooling Load Calculations and Title 24 Compliance calculations using Energy-Pro and eQuest programsAssist with developing ability to conduct job site surveys and help to analyze solutions and installation sequencing.Other duties may include copying/printing/scanning, assembly of equipment submittal packages, assistance in preparing work scope and other tasks as assigned.Ability to manage multiple deadlinesAbility to write technical proposals and reports Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering1+ years’ experience in HVAC DesignCEM, EIT highly preferredKnowledge of OSHPD codes are a plusIndependent decision making is requiredComputer skills using MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Project and Adobe Acrobat. Knowledge of AutoCAD MEP or Revit is a plus.Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
