**Description** SAIC is seeking a **Mechanical Engineer** to join our team in Hanahan, SC. **The Mechanical Engineer Will:** + Develop static and dynamic design and analysis of mechanical systems, equipment and packages + Review performance specifications and continuously track all metrics to ensure prototype designs and systems are in accordance with the customer's needs and requirements + Conduct feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs + Utilizes Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Software to ensure designs meet all anticipated load and vibration profiles + Direct support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing and prototype fabrication + Provide design information to drafting for packaging documentation.
