🚀 Mechanical Drafter / Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer

Ready to turn great designs into real-world power solutions? We’re looking for a detail-driven Mechanical Drafter or Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer to join our growing engineering team. 🔧 What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll play a key role in bringing Circuit Breaker products from concept to production by creating and managing high-quality engineering documentation.

Generate, modify, and organize general arrangement and physical outline drawings using the latest AutoCAD toolsSupport customer approvals and manufacturing by delivering accurate, on-time drawing packagesPerform CAD file conversions as neededCreate 3D models using ProEngineer (Creo) for customer-specific circuit breakersReview mechanical and electrical drawings for technical accuracy and clarityPrepare approval and as-built drawing packages, CT curves, and test reports for customer submittalsMaintain and manage all engineering drawings in the EDMATS document management systemPrepare device tag files to support procurement and planning teamsUpdate order tracking databases with accurate and timely informationCollaborate with Production, Industrialization, Sourcing, and Quality teamsEnsure designs meet USC factory standards, GE Grid Solutions specifications, and applicable national/international codesJump in on additional engineering or documentation tasks as needed✅ What We’re Looking For

This role is ideal for recent graduates, early-career engineers, or experienced drafters who want exposure to real engineering projects.

Required Skills

Proficiency with mechanical CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and/or ProEngineer (Creo)At least 1 year of CAD-based drafting or design experience (internships and co-ops welcome!)

Preferred Qualifications

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charleroi, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $31.25/hr.
