Job Title: Mechanical DrafterJob Description

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Mechanical Drafter with expertise in CAD design. This role involves designing CAD drawings for our fabrication shop and occasionally operating as a plasma cutter/burn table operator. The position requires setting up, adjusting, and operating the plasma cutter to cut metals, as well as running a CNC tube cutter and HAAS VMC.

ResponsibilitiesCreate detailed CAD drawings for fabrication projects.Operate plasma cutter/burn table and CNC tube cutter.Adjust and operate HAAS VMC for metal cutting.Ensure accuracy and precision in all drafting tasks.Collaborate with fabrication team to meet project specifications.Essential SkillsProficiency in Solidworks and mechanical drafting.Strong background in the fabrication industry.Experience with CNC operations and 3D modeling.Ability to hit the ground running with minimal supervision.Additional Skills & QualificationsValid driver's license.Strong mathematical skills.Solidworks preferred.Work Environment

The position is on-site, requiring presence five days a week, with occasional work in the shop environment. The role involves interaction with fabrication technologies and equipment, ensuring a dynamic and hands-on work experience.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of McKeesport, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $35.00/hr.
