Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and technically proficient Mechanical Drafter to create and review mechanical drawings using CAD software. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy by updating job information and maintaining safety standards in compliance with PPE and OSHA requirements.
Responsibilities
Create detailed drawings using CAD software, with a preference for AutoCAD.Review and update mechanical drawings and job information.Maintain organizational efficiency and technical proficiency.Adhere to all safety protocols, including PPE and OSHA standards, especially in the manufacturing area.Essential Skills
Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and Inventor.Strong mechanical drafting skills.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret manufacturing drawings, technical manuals, and diagrams.Experience with mechanical drawings.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Associate's Degree with 0-10 years of relevant experience.Experience with Bill of Materials (BOM) and procurement processes is preferred.Experience with heat exchange or similar mechanical plant equipment.Work Environment
This position requires working on-site five days a week, with the possibility of remote work on a case-by-case basis. The role offers optional overtime in an hourly capacity and provides three weeks of paid time off once you transition to a direct position.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Duquesne, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $40.00/hr.
