Description
\t\t\t\t\tKey responsibilities include:Performing assignments using established methods and standard techniques, such as organizing drawing sequences, integrating system components, and refining initial sketches.Adhering to company, client, and project-specific design and drafting standards.Producing complete Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) based on verbal or written input from design engineers.Developing plot plans, sections, and detailed drawings from design engineer descriptions; experience with isometric drawings is a plus.Applying fundamental mechanical engineering principles, formulas, and practices to support design tasks.Planning and preparing drawings for production work, including problem analysis, design layout, and calculations for non-routine assignments involving considerable variety and complexity.Executing a range of mechanical design tasks using prescribed methods, including sizing system components and refining sketches.Implementing design changes, redlines, and mark-ups on ongoing projects.Analyzing reports, drawings, and test results to inform project planning and design.Interpreting and applying relevant design codes and specifications to meet project requirements.Reviewing design drawings to ensure quality, adherence to scope, budget, and schedule.Completing project tasks within allocated hours and deadlines.Performing calculations related to layouts, equipment, wiring diagrams, and schematics.Managing revisions of project drawings and ensuring that plot files and project documentation are organized logically and systematically.Maintaining clear and concise written and verbal communication for effective project coordination with clients and team members.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $47.25 - $57.75/hr.
