Job Title: Mechanical Designer/DrafterJob Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer/Drafter with extensive experience in facility and building HVAC design. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in heating and cooling design, along with a minimum of three years of experience using Revit. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects within a multidisciplinary firm known for its competitive pay and flexible schedules.

ResponsibilitiesDesign and draft HVAC systems for new construction and renovation of buildings.Collaborate with teams to ensure effective project management and design execution.Utilize Revit for designing and drafting, ensuring proficiency in BIM processes.Engage in plumbing design to complement HVAC systems.Contribute to projects involving multi-family, institutional, cultural, government, and corporate interiors.Essential SkillsProficiency in Revit with at least 3 years of experience.Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and plumbing design.Experience in mechanical design and drafting.background in project management and design execution.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in multi-family or housing projects.Exposure to institutional, cultural, government, or corporate interiors.Work Environment

The candidate will work primarily in the Washington DC office, which houses 60 professionals, as part of a firm with locations across the USA. The work schedule includes four days in the office and one day remote. The company specializes in multi-market sectors, including multifamily, government, and corporate projects, and offers a work-life balance supported by advanced technology for collaboration across offices.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, DC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/hr.
