Job Description
Join a dynamic team as a Mechanical Designer, where you will play a critical role in a large construction project focused on multiple data centers. You will use Building Information Modeling (BIM) extensively to draft and assemble design components, particularly circulatory piping. Additionally, you will review blueprints to determine customer requirements and consult with assemblers on schematics. You will also engage in discussions with engineers to interpret design concepts and finalize detailed work requirements.

Proficient in Revit with at least 2 years of experience.Proficient in BIM with at least 2 years of experience.Experience in electrical/mechanical design.Skilled in HVAC design and mechanical design.Additional Skills & Qualifications
1.5 years of experience in Revit.3 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting/designing in the mechanical/electrical MEP industry.Degree preferred, but not required.1 year of electrical design experience.Work Environment
You will work on a large construction site, housed in a top-notch trailer office setup equipped with the latest software. The environment is relaxed with a casual dress code, including jeans, shirt, and shoes. However, it is deadline-driven. The hours are from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, promoting a family-first attitude to achieve a work-life balance.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00/hr.
