Job Title: SolidWorks DesignerJob Description

We are seeking a SolidWorks Designer with a strong mechanical mindset and high proficiency in SolidWorks to support mechanical design and documentation work. This role will focus primarily on updating, correcting, and creating detailed 3D models and drawings for mechanical assemblies and enclosures. The position requires someone who can work efficiently and independently in SolidWorks, identifying drawing issues, executing corrections accurately, and maintaining design standards.

ResponsibilitiesUpdate, correct, and create detailed 3D models and drawings for mechanical assemblies and enclosures.Work independently in SolidWorks to identify and resolve drawing issues.Execute design corrections accurately based on redline drawings and engineering guidance.Maintain design standards without requiring extensive software training.Essential SkillsStrong proficiency in SolidWorks with the ability to efficiently manipulate and create designs independently.Demonstrated ability to work with 3D models, complex mechanical assemblies, and detailed drawings.Solid mechanical mindset with an understanding of how mechanical components fit and function.Ability to make drawing corrections and improvements based on redlines and guidance.Minimum 1–3 years of hands-on SolidWorks experience. Entry-level candidates will be considered if they demonstrate strong software expertise.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in drafting and CAD in a manufacturing environment.Work Environment

The role is based in a manufacturing or plant-based environment, within a new facility. The position offers billable vacation and holiday. It is structured as a 12-month contract or contract-to-hire, with flexibility depending on the candidate's preference.

This is a Contract position based out of Batesville, MS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
