Job Title: Mechanical Designer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design professional to lead the full design of sanitary, domestic water, gas, storm, medical gas, and fire protection systems for small to medium commercial projects. The role involves evaluating system options, assessing existing building systems, and coordinating all project documentation with internal teams and clients. You will be responsible for producing complete, code-compliant designs using AutoCAD or Revit, preparing technical specifications, and supporting both bidding and construction phases.
Responsibilities
Evaluate system options and assess existing building systems.Coordinate project documentation with internal teams and clients.Produce complete, code-compliant designs using AutoCAD or Revit.Prepare technical specifications for projects.Support bidding and construction phases by reviewing bids, responding to RFIs, and reviewing shop drawings.Participate in walkthroughs and prepare field observation reports.Essential Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.Experience in plumbing design.Knowledge of MEP systems.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree preferred in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a Mechanical focus.2-8 years of experience with a degree or at least 4 years without a degree.Work Environment
This is a hybrid role with in-office work required except for Wednesdays, which can be remote after the first six weeks. The workplace is casual, and employees receive vacation pay from Christmas to New Year's. Employees earn 6 hours of PTO every pay period, and PTO over 300 hours is paid out quarterly at 2/3rds.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
