The Mechanical Design Engineer collaborates with a local team or global engineering team on product design which satisfy customer specifications. This process includes design, product validation, completing documentation and executing launch items for production. Complete all related drawings, documentation and release in internal systems. **Job Summary** We are seeking a skilled and proactive Mechanical Equipment Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in machine design principles, technical analysis, and documentation, with the ability to work independently on complex mechanical systems and components. **Key Responsibilities:** + Design machines and fixtures based on engineering principles and project requirements. + Analyze technical specifications and propose effective design solutions. + Develop and maintain technical documentation in accordance with industry standards. + Apply knowledge of manufacturing technologies for machine parts and ensure design feasibility. + Select appropriate materials for machine construction based on their properties and applications. + Integrate standard components and drive systems into machine designs. + Independently develop complete machines or subsystems with minimal supervision. + Prepare detailed drawings and documentation for production of the mechanical components. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product design, production, quality, and procurement. + Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with safety and performance standards. **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. + Proven experience in machine design and development. + Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar). + Familiarity with technical documentation standards. + Strong understanding of materials science and mechanical components. + Knowledge of manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability (DFM). + Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. + Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
