Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer Job Description As a Design Engineer, you will leverage engineering theory and real-world experience to design industrial ergonomic systems and material handling equipment. You will lead modeling and detailing tasks, ensuring adherence to engineering standards, specifications, and quality requirements. This role involves advanced design and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) on high-complexity systems, transforming customer requirements into engineered solutions. You will manage projects from concept through installation and communicate technical solutions effectively to both internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities + Apply engineering theory to design industrial ergonomic systems and material handling equipment. + Lead modeling and detailing tasks, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, specifications, and quality requirements. + Perform advanced design and FEA analysis on high-complexity systems. + Translate customer requirements into engineered solutions. + Manage projects from concept through installation. + Communicate technical solutions clearly to internal and external stakeholders. Essential Skills + Proficiency in NX and automation design. + 5+ years of experience in tooling and automation design. + Expertise in FEA. + Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling. + Ability to interpret 3D models, layouts, and engineering specifications. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in designing industrial ergonomic systems and automated tooling. + Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate with customers. + Experience in project management within fast-paced environments. + Strong organizational, planning, and adaptability skills. + Quick learner of new technologies. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
