As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in creating custom orders for prominent clients, using advanced technologies and adhering to industry standards.
ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop UL 891 compliant low voltage switchgear and panel boards.Create custom orders for clients including Faith Technologies and Google.Utilize Solidworks to design Power Distribution Units (PDUs) and Bus Bars.Ensure designs adhere to UL 67 and UL 891 standards.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the production of switchgears and custom interiors.Essential SkillsProficiency in Solidworks for mechanical design.Experience with UL Standards, specifically UL 891 and UL 67.Strong understanding of low voltage switchgear and power distribution units.Background in mechanical engineering and design.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in machining and designing custom orders.Knowledge of panel boards and bus bars.Work EnvironmentThis position is based at a location with approximately 80 employees across three buildings. The facilities are currently expanding to accommodate the increasing demand for custom orders. The work environment fosters collaboration and innovation, utilizing advanced tools and technologies to design and produce high-quality electrical components. Dress code is casual, supporting a comfortable and dynamic work atmosphere.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00/hr.
