Job Description
The role involves defining vehicle system architecture and function solutions in compliance with engineering operational requirements. You will design, integrate, and approve solutions while ensuring compliance with airworthiness and engineering standards.
Responsibilities
Define system architecture and function solutions according to engineering operation requirements.Design, integrate, and approve defined solutions.Define and review technical documents needed for system verification.Define and approve verification methods, including tests and analyses.Elaborate verification programs and deliver results to the Airworthiness team.Provide technical analysis of third-party STCs.Assess TC change impact on legacy products and open projects.Design, develop, and review technical documents and engineering structural drawings for equipment integration.Design layout of aircraft modifications and configurations for various completions and STC projects.Draft and 3D model installations, assemblies, and parts including sheet metal and composite design.Check wiring diagrams, wire routing, and aircraft structure interface for EMI/EMC requirements.Check airframe design integrations and modifications for structural items.Review installation instructions and instructions for continued airworthiness.Provide liaison support to internal and external customers for aircraft integration and conformity efforts.Essential Skills
5+ years of experience designing within Catia V5.Experience with Sheet Metal and Composite Material.At least 4 years of experience within Aerospace.Proficiency in Aircraft Design and Modifications.CGD certification required.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with aircraft wiring and EMC.North American experience.Experience working with Transport Canada.Experience with aircraft parts brackets.Work Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
