Mechanical Design Engineer
Our client, a **leading custom trailer manufacturer supporting major sports brands** — including **racing, golf, and professional team sports** — is seeking a **Design Engineer** to join their team. As a Design Engineer, you will be part of the **Engineering Department** supporting **Sales, Production, and Purchasing teams** . The ideal candidate will bring **problem-solving skills, collaborative communication, and technical design expertise** to help deliver **highly customized builds, professional branding, and diverse projects** in a strong, team-driven culture. **Job Title:** Design Engineer **Location:** Cresco, IA **Pay Range:** Competitive, based on experience & great relocation **What’s the Job?** + Use AutoCAD 2D and Inventor 3D to create custom and standard trailer designs + Develop detailed fabrication and assembly drawings with proper fit and function + Lead design reviews with production leaders and collaborate with sales/vendors + Document BOM changes, engineering updates, and project change orders + Manage multiple custom trailer projects while ensuring safety, accuracy, and timeliness **What’s Needed?
