Your Key Responsibilities Development and implementation of special machinery in assembly technology, testing technology, production technology, and processing technology for the Schaeffler group of companies and for external customers. These special machines must comply with all technical, economic and qualitative specifications of the Schaeffler Group or those of external customers. Design and develop mechanical manufacturing equipment for the Schaeffler Production System. Define processes for the development of innovative solutions and the future demand. Deploy state of the art technologies. Create technical documentation, drawings and specifications Your Qualifications A successfully completed degree in technical studies or sucessfully completed training to become a technical engineer with several years of professional experience. Strong experience in mechanical design with the CAD tool Creo and WindChill used in special machine construction. Minimum 3 to 6 years of experience in automation machine design Long Description

- Execution of projects and assumption of responsibilities as regulated in IN ZS 06018 (special purpose machine
development process) and P173200-20 (project management in special purpose machine construction)
- Achieve agreed project goals (content, quality, schedule, costs) and fulfill project design order in defined costs and
timeline
- Technical leadership of the project team members and support to Overall Project Manager from Design.
- Creation of concepts and cooperation in concept clarification with the customer and Project Manager
- Collaboration in the preparation of quotations
- Performing necessary calculations and tests
- Creating layouts, drafts and 3D models, for parts, assemblies and general arrangement
- Detailing and preparation of parts lists
- Selection of suppliers for mechanical components
- Monitoring and control of design documents and PDM eg. Windchill data
- Preparation of risk assessments and process descriptions
- Responsible for fluid plans and their control
- Technical contact person for the realized special machines also after their delivery
- Compliance and collaboration in the creation of standards, instructions and procedures
- Continuous improvement (MOVE) within the scope of work tasks
- Cooperation, interface management and coordination with other departments within the special machine
construction department
