Mechanical Assembly Technician
**Job Title: Assembly Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician with a strong experience in industrial mechanics and assembly work. This role involves working with hand and power tools to assemble and test new valves, contributing to the efficiency and safety of our manufacturing processes. **Responsibilities** + Tear down old valves and inventory salvageable parts. + Assemble brand new valves using nuts, bolts, pipes, pipe fittings, gaskets, and seals. + Conduct testing on assembled valves to ensure quality and functionality. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of industrial mechanic experience. + 2+ years of assembly experience. + 2+ years of experience with hand and power tools. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with mechanical assembly, pneumatics, and hydraulics. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that is committed to increasing efficiency, extending campaign life, and improving safety while enhancing value and profitability. The facility can be dirty at times. The shift is Monday through Thursday, from 5 AM to 4:30 PM. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mars, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
