Job Title: Mechanical Assembly Technician

Job Description

The Mechanical Assembly Technician is responsible for all aspects of building sub-assemblies and final assemblies in the manufacturing of custom Extrusion, Injection, and Blow Molding Machines. This role involves reading work orders and custom blueprints to construct the machinery.

Shift and Pay

First Shift - Monday - Friday

$26-$30/hr based on experience

ResponsibilitiesStrictly adhere to all safety protocols and programs.Assemble and/or install major components with their respective sub-assemblies with minimal supervision.Perform assembly functions involving layouts, positioning of components, maintaining specified tolerances, alignment of drive couplings and pinion gears, roller chain and belt installations, and bore-sighting.Identify equipment needs or safety issues pertaining to the operation and condition of the equipment.Operate lathes, milling machines, drill presses, saws, surface grinders, and other tools to make repairs to machinery or custom installations.Operate forklifts safely as needed.Maintain good housekeeping and follow safety rules.Perform all other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsStrong blueprint reading skills.Background in mechanical assembly and building machinery.Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $62400.00/yr.
