Mechanical Assembly Technician
**Job Title: Mechanical Assembly Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembly Technician responsible for soldering wires to terminals, PCB boards, and other components. The role involves mechanical assembly of sub-assemblies and main assemblies, as well as testing assemblies using a multi-meter to measure resistance. The technician should have the ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and schematics, and be organized enough to follow instructions accurately. **Responsibilities** + Solder wires to terminals, PCB boards, and other wires. + Perform mechanical assembly of sub-assemblies and main assemblies. + Test assemblies using a multi-meter to measure resistance. + Read and interpret assembly drawings and schematics. + Organize tasks and follow instructions as provided. **Essential Skills** + Soldering + Mechanical assembly + Reading assembly drawings and schematics + Use of hand tools, micrometers, and calipers + Understanding of ISO quality systems + Wiring **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 3+ years of soldering experience + Experience in electronics, manufacturing, or assembly industry + Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers + Experience with ISO/AS quality systems + IPC 610 and/or 620 and J Standard Certification + High school diploma or GED + Good hand dexterity + Ability to use small tools + Attention to detail **Work Environment** The role is performed in a clean production environment, ensuring a safe and organized workspace. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hamilton Township, New Jersey. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
