Job Title: Mechanical Assembly TechnicianJob Description

We are looking for a dedicated Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our aerospace manufacturing team. This role involves performing production assembly, part marking activities, and utilizing ERP systems for documentation. You will also be responsible for shipping, receiving, and inventory control functions, ensuring smooth material flow and meeting productivity standards.

ResponsibilitiesPerform simple production assembly tasks and part marking related activities.Utilize ERP systems to document work movement and completion transactions.Conduct shipping, receiving, and inventory control within the cell, ensuring accurate verification of items, quantities, quality, and documentation.Prepare orders for delivery to other departments or customers and allocate materials to work centers.Pick/pull parts from inventory and enter component parts into department inventory.Process work within performance and delivery requirements, meeting productivity standards and following job priority instructions.Communicate production delays and problems to appropriate supervision.Support all members of the manufacturing team to achieve company, departmental, and personal goals.Participate in team and company meetings, demonstrating proper work ethics, behaviors, hygiene, and dress.Achieve mentor certification and actively support company mission.Instruct program participants on processing work within delivery requirements.Essential SkillsProficiency in mechanical assembly, including hand tool use, blueprint reading, riveting, and countersinking.Experience in working with adhesives and power tools.Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and practices.Additional Skills & QualificationsLevel 2: Ability to troubleshoot process-related problems and verify first part production conformance.Provide training to staff and recommend qualifications on processes and equipment.Proficiency in two or more areas of Clamp Block Cell.Level 3: Inspection experience utilizing calipers and performing cycle counts.Access and navigate customer portals.Cross-trained in all areas of Clamp Block cell.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This role operates within a structured work environment with shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday-Friday or 3:25 p.m. to 1:55 a.m. Monday-Thursday. Dress code requires proper hygiene and attire suitable for a manufacturing setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
