**Job Title: Mechanical Assembly Technician** **Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our team. This role involves performing simple production assembly tasks, part marking, and documentation using an ERP system. You will be responsible for shipping, receiving, and inventory control functions within the cell, ensuring materials and products meet quality standards and are properly documented.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform simple production assembly.
+ Engage in part marking related activities.
+ Utilize ERP system to document work movement and completion transactions.
+ Conduct shipping, receiving, and inventory control functions.
+ Receive material and product by verifying correct items, quantity, quality, and documentation.
+ Prepare orders for delivery to other departments or customers.
+ Allocate material to work centers.
+ Pick and pull parts from inventory.
+ Receive component parts into department and enter into inventory.
+ Process work within performance and delivery requirements by meeting established productivity standards and following job priority instructions.
+ Communicate production delays and problems to appropriate supervision.
+ Support team members to achieve company, departmental, and personal goals.
+ Participate in team and company meetings.
+ Role model proper work ethics, behaviors, proper hygiene, and dress.
+ Achieve mentor certification and actively support company mission.
+ Instruct program participants on processing work within delivery requirements.
**Essential Skills**
+ Mechanical assembly and aptitude.
+ Experience with hand tools and power tools.
+ Ability to read and understand blueprints.
+ Proficiency in riveting and countersinking.
+ Experience working with adhesives.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Troubleshooting process-related problems.
+ Verifying first part of production for conformance utilizing specifications, drawings, and customer workmanship standards.
+ Proficient in two or more areas of Clamp Block Cell.
+ Inspection experience utilizing calipers.
+ Ability to perform cycle counts.
+ Cross-trained in all areas of Clamp Block Cell.

**Work Environment**
The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or Monday to Thursday from 3:25 p.m. to 1:55 a.m. This position is in a professional aerospace manufacturing setting, emphasizing teamwork and a commitment to quality.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, WA.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
