Overview
We’re looking for a skilled Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our aerospace manufacturing team. In this role, you’ll perform hands-on assembly work, support production operations, and help maintain smooth material flow. Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble mechanical components using standard tools and techniques.Perform part identification and marking tasks.Record work progress and completion in the ERP system.Handle shipping, receiving, and inventory management activities.Verify incoming materials for accuracy, quality, and proper documentation.Prepare and stage orders for internal departments or external customers.Allocate and distribute materials to designated workstations.Receive and log component parts into inventory systems.Meet productivity and delivery targets while maintaining quality standards.Follow priority instructions and promptly report delays or issues to supervisors.Collaborate with team members to achieve production and organizational goals.Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.Demonstrate professionalism in work habits, attire, and hygiene.Complete mentor certification and actively support training initiatives.Guide program participants on meeting production timelines and standards.Required SkillsHands-on experience with mechanical assembly using hand and power tools.Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.Skilled in riveting and countersinking techniques.Familiarity with adhesive application in assembly processes.Preferred QualificationsLevel 2: Ability to troubleshoot assembly issues, verify first-piece quality, train team members, and proficiency in multiple Clamp Block cell operations.Level 3: Experience with precision inspection tools (e.g., calipers), cycle counting, navigating customer portals, and cross-training across all Clamp Block cell areas.Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
