Where is the work:
· On-Site from Monday to Thursday, work onsite with your colleagues from 5:30 AM to 4 PM. On Fridays, choose your work location, balancing what your work requires.
What you will do:
You will be directly responsible for:
· Assembling and installing refrigeration system components such as:
o Compressors;
o Motors;
o Blowers;
o Fans;
o Coils;
o Electric components, and
o Associated wiring, support braces, and other brackets.
· Applying caulk, foam, and Sikaflex as necessary to assemblies.
· Brazing of components during assembly.
· Maintaining a high level of workplace organization.
· Completing unit traveler paperwork
· Working with Supervisor and others to develop work instructions and procedures.
· Meeting customers' product quality requirements.
· Reporting any product quality issues immediately.
· Following strict adherence to:
o Quality manual and standards;
o Safety and corporate policies;
o Standards rules of Conduct, and
o All procedures and work instructions.
· Contributing to continuous improvement process.
· Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
· Performing any related functions as required.
What you will bring:
Educational experience including:High School diploma or equivalent experience/certificate.This is essential to ensure that you have demonstrated successful completion of educational foundations required for this function including mathematics, reading comprehension, etc.Professional experience including:Mechanical Assembly
Minimum of two (2) years of hands-on mechanical assembly experience in a professional manufacturing work environment.
Preferably in a production line team environment.
Specialized Professional experience including:Brazing/Electronics soldering
You should be able to demonstrate a high level of brazing expertise.
Compensation:
The hourly rate paid for this role currently ranges between $ /hour and $ /hour. Your rate upon hire will be based from this range based upon your experience and your successful performance on a skill assessment.
Additional Requirements and Environmental Exposure:
· This is an industrial production line role in a climate controlled manufacturing environment.
o Must be able to work in a manufacturing work environment with machinery, etc.
· Must be able to wear safety goggles, gloves, safety boots, and other assigned PPE to safely perform job duties.
· Must be able to twist the trunk of your body 90 degrees in each direction.
· Must be able to reach your hands over your head and below knees.
· Must be able to stand on concrete surfaces for extended periods while at work during the ten (10) hour work day with rest periods.
· This position is highly physical and requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, bending, some kneeling, stretching and use of step ladders.
o It requires employees to:
§ Regularly lift and or move up to 20 lbs. regularly, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 lbs with and without assistance – including use of mechanical assistance.
§ Will include work within defined work spaces inside of the assembly units.
§ Regularly use repetitive motion of upper body including fingers, hands, wrists, arms, elbows, shoulders, etc.
§ Regularly use repetitive motion of mid to lower body including bending and stretching at the waist and knee, etc.
§ Regularly includes movement of arms, wrists, hands and fingers when using powertools and/or handtools.
· This role will be exposed to moving mechanical parts, noisy operating equipment and other variable environmental conditions based on location.
Compensation
Your experience and skills at time of hire would result in your earning an hourly rate ranging from $21.74 per hour to $26.07 per hour.
