Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

The Production Technician plays a crucial role in assembling products and conducting final product tests. This position requires a keen attention to detail, a strong quality awareness, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret written and pictorial instructions to gather necessary mechanical parts.Assemble parts according to set instructions.Work at either an individual station or on an assembly line.Utilize power tools, torque tools, drills, and screwdrivers.Stand for the majority of the workday.Assemble 15 batteries per day on each line.Flexibly assist in the warehouse and packaging as needed.

Essential Skills

Mechanical, manufacturing, assembly, or production experience.Ability to understand work instructions and drawings.Capacity to lift 20 kg throughout the shift.Willingness to work six days a week during peak business periods.Proficiency in reading English instructions and schematics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Mechanically inclined.6 months of production or assembly experience.Comfortable working morning shifts.Experience with schematic and blueprint reading.

Work Environment

Our Client operates in a clean, bright, and warm manufacturing floor dedicated to producing lithium batteries for marine applications. The work environment is multicultural, with a focus on productivity. The dress code is comfortable casual, with steel-toed work boots required. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with potential overtime on weekends. Employees can expect a 50-hour workweek during busy periods.
