Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Electro Mechanical Assembler to join our team and work within a diverse range of industries. You will be assembling parts primarily for our largest customer, focusing on products in the medical, automotive, and aerospace sectors. This position offers a day shift schedule, where you will work both collaboratively and independently.
Responsibilities
Assemble electro-mechanical components with precision and accuracy.Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.Perform cable harnessing and box builds.Execute soldering tasks and utilize various tools including wrenches, screwdrivers, calipers, torque tools, and crimpers.Conduct electrical and valve assembly.Perform point-to-point wiring and basic wiring tasks.Essential Skills
1-3 years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly.Proficiency in reading and understanding schematics and drawings.Experience with cable harnessing and box builds.Detail-oriented with strong soldering skills.Familiarity with using tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, calipers, torque tools, and crimping small pins.Work Environment
This role is based in a clean room environment with approximately 15 other assemblers. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 6am to 2:30pm.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newark, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
