**Job Title: Furnace - Industrial Assembler** **Job Description**
Work in a clean shop, engaging in assembly and build processes across various departments. This role requires a mechanical aptitude and the ability to read a tape measure for basic tasks. The position involves working 50+ hours a week with a 5 AM start time.
**Responsibilities**
+ Mechanical Assembly: Assemble components into cabinets following drawings or pictures.
+ Wire Assembly: Connect wires in panels, perform point-to-point wiring, and install wire harnesses.
+ Panel Building: Retrofit control panels to customer specifications using hand tools and other small equipment.
+ Install wire channels according to pictures, ensuring proper placement of tabs and prongs.
+ Install wires following diagrams and pictures, ensuring each numbered wire is placed correctly.
+ Add buss bars to control panels using forklifts or other machines for heavier materials.
+ Install additional hardware to complete control panels.
+ Apply stickers, labels, and safety signs to control panel doors.
+ Participate in mechanical assembly of systems and subsystems, requiring measurement skills.
+ Perform assembly and fitting of pipes for heating and cooling systems.
**Essential Skills**
+ Strong mechanical aptitude.
+ Ability to perform repetitive labor duties and stand for entire shifts.
+ Aptitude for training and learning on the job.
+ Basic math skills, including adding and subtracting fractions.
+ Proficiency with power tools, saws, hand tools, and screw guns.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in HVAC, plumbing, and pipefitting is ideal.
+ Experience in automotive mechanics, metal fabrication, carpentry, industrial painting, sandblasting, powder coating, and masonry.
+ Brazing and soldering skills are a plus but can be taught.
+ Preferred candidates have shop or manufacturing experience.

**Work Environment**
Join a state-of-the-art, fast-paced manufacturing facility with roughly 200 employees in the manufacturing department. The dress code requires work boots and work attire, with work shirts provided after a few weeks. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burlington, NJ.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
