Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler with over two years of experience in mechanical assembly to join our small, dedicated team. This role involves assembly and disassembly tasks, including grinding, tapping, and drilling. The ideal candidate will be adept at interpreting drawings and understanding tolerances, dimensions, and standard conversions. A strong familiarity with MICS, calipers, gauges, and the ability to read a tape measure are essential.

Responsibilities

Perform mechanical assembly and disassembly tasks.Interpret technical drawings and understand tolerances and dimensions.Utilize tools such as MICS, calipers, gauges, and tape measures.Conduct grinding, drilling, and tapping operations.Lift up to 50 pounds and handle physical tasks including climbing ladders, kneeling, and crouching.

Essential Skills

2+ years of mechanical assembly experience.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.Proficiency in reading technical drawings and using measurement tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Some electrical skills, including panel wiring and conduit bending.Experience in mechanics, such as working on cars or trucks, and home repairs.

Work Environment

The position is on a first shift schedule, Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with no current overtime. You will work in a climate-controlled office building, with engineering, sales, and administrative cubicles upstairs, and panel work and machine building downstai

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
