Job Title: Mechanical AssemblerJob Description

The Mechanical Assembler will be part of a dynamic team responsible for assembling enclosures for data centers and oil and gas units. This role involves using blueprints to install mechanical components and hardware as needed. The assembler will utilize hand tools, power tools, wrenches, and lifting devices to accomplish these tasks efficiently.

ResponsibilitiesInstall flux bars and bus bars into electrical cabinets.Assemble cabinets, large skid packs, and buildings.Install parts and equipment in electrical boxes and components.Assemble metal buildings according to instructions.Essential SkillsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.Proficiency in using a tape measure (both standard and metric).Experience in mechanical assembly and electrical work.Skillful use of hand and power tools.Comfortable working at heights and in various outdoor conditions year-round.Strong safety consciousness.Additional Skills & Qualifications1+ years of experience assembling metal buildings, structures, or boxes, ideally electrical boxes.Experience with switchgear, breakers, and related components.Forklift, overhead crane, and picker truck experience is considered an asset.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

You will be working in the main shop of a new building with day shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, including a half-hour unpaid lunch. Overtime is available after 40 hours in a week. Required PPE includes CSA Green triangle boots, safety glasses, and gloves.
