The Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for producing components by assembling parts and subassemblies. This role involves electrical wiring and integrating electrical wires into products at an intermediate level. The position requires the use of hand tools such as crimps, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, welds, solders, cements, press fits, or similar tools. The assembler will mount components like transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets on chassis panels.
ResponsibilitiesAssemble parts using hand tools or machines.Mount assembled components on chassis panels.Connect component wires to circuits and between individual component leads.Install finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets.Position or align components and parts.Conduct quality control checks.Clean and maintain the work area and equipment, including tools.Prepare work by studying parts lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, and tools.Essential SkillsProficiency working with various types of hand and power tools, including torque drills, wrenches, and ratchets.Ability to read a tape measure.Experience reading mechanical blueprints or mechanical assembly diagrams.Mechanical aptitude.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Why Work Here?Work in a climate-controlled environment with the opportunity for a $1 pay increase after 120 days. Work EnvironmentThe work environment is climate controlled. Expect to work 10-hour shifts and weekends for the time being. The 1st shift operates from 6 am to 4:30 pm, with mandatory 12-hour shifts and mandatory weekend work.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
