Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Shift - Day shift from 6:30 AM to 3 PM, Monday to Friday

Wage - $20-24/hr.

Location - Calgary

Job Description

You will be ssembling enclosures for data centers and oil and gas units.

This role involves the installation of mechanical components using blueprints and the installation of necessary hardware.

The position requires the use of hand tools, power tools, wrenches, and lifting devices.

Responsibilities

Install flux bars and bus bars into electrical cabinets.Assemble cabinets, large skid packs, and buildings.Install parts and equipment in electrical boxes and components.Assemble metal buildings according to instructions.

Essential Skills

Proficiency with tape measure (both standard and metric).Ability to read blueprints and schematics.1+ years of experience in assembling metal buildings/structures/boxes, ideally electrical boxes.Efficiency in using hand and power tools.Experience in lifting, production environment, fabrication, and assembly.

Work Environment

Work in the main shop of a new building with a , with a half-hour unpaid lunch. Overtime is available after 40 hours in a week.

Required personal protective equipment includes CSA-approved boots, safety glasses, and gloves.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
