Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to perform mechanical assembly on pump mounted skid packages. This role involves reading blueprints and operating hand tools. You will work closely with lead mechanics, assisting them with shop cleaning, tool hauling, and the assembly of skid mounted pump packages.
Responsibilities
Perform mechanical assembly on pump mounted skid packages.Read and interpret blueprints effectively.Operate hand and power tools proficiently.Assist lead mechanics with shop cleaning and tool hauling.Conduct shaft alignments.Utilize tape measures and levels for precise assembly tasks.Essential Skills
5+ years of experience in skid assembly.Proven experience performing shaft alignments.Proficient use of tape measures and levels.Skilled in using hand and power tools.Must own basic hand tools, including 3-inch and quarter wrenches.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a manufacturing environment that involves fabrication, welding, and assembly activities. The shop is clean but not climate controlled, and tasks are performed across various workstations. Utilize equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes. Work hours are primarily day shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with potential for longer hours as workload increases. Currently, employees average 45 hours per week, with the expectation of increased workload in the coming months. Weekend work may be required as needed.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
