**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler** **Job Description** Join a dedicated team as a Mechanical Assembler, working the 2nd shift from 3:30 pm to 2:00 am, Monday through Thursday. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling tables, desks, and chairs for schools, contributing to a company specializing in manufacturing classroom and cafeteria equipment. **Responsibilities** + Assemble school tables, desks, and chairs using power tools and hand tools. + Utilize a power drill, tape measure, and screwdriver for assembly tasks. + Drill and attach hinges, legs, and arms to tables and desks. + Ensure high-quality construction and functionality of school furniture. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in using hand and power tools such as screwdrivers, power drills, rivet guns, sockets, and wrenches. + Ability to read a tape measure accurately. + Strong mechanical inclination and a stable work history. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with mechanical assembly and production line work. + Ability to pass a tape measure test during the interview process. **Why Work Here?** Work in a well-lit facility located in the heart of Edina, within a union company that values and cares for its employees.
