The role involves assembling paint robots by taking subassemblies and completely putting them together for shipping You will need to read blueprints and use tools such as loctite, wrenches, and ratchets to ensure that each robot is perfectly assembled before moving to shippingJob Responsibilities
Produce components by assembling parts and subassembliesRead and interpret schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructionsUse hand tools or machines to assemble partsConduct quality control checksClean and maintain work area and equipment, including toolsPrepare work by studying parts lists and gathering necessary itemsPosition parts and subassemblies using templates or measurementsAssemble components by checking connections for correct fit and fastening partsVerify specifications by measuring completed componentsResolve assembly problems and notify supervisor for additional resources if neededMaintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to procedures, rules, and regulationsConserve resources by using equipment and supplies efficientlyDocument actions by completing production and quality formsEssential Skills
Mechanical aptitude with experience in car mechanics, backyard mechanics, or industrial machine assembly/repairAbility to read blueprintsProficiency with tools such as impact drills, ratchets, hammers, Allen wrenches, screwdrivers, and torque wrenchesJob Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Auburn Hills, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
