**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler** **Job Description** We are seeking skilled Mechanical Assemblers for three distinct assembly departments. There are 6 openings available, with 3 positions on the 1st shift and 3 positions on the 2nd shift. Join us and be part of a team assembling critical components used in medical devices, farm equipment, and government machinery. **Responsibilities** + Assemble mechanical parts and components following blueprints and technical drawings. + Use hand and power tools, including calipers and micrometers, for precise assembly tasks. + Work with brakes and clutches used in surgical robots, gurneys, hospital beds, and MRI machines. + Participate in the epoxy machine and magnet assembly, gear motor, and medical assembly tasks. + Ensure quality standards are met and maintained throughout the assembly process. + Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols. **Essential Skills** + At least 1 year of experience in mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly. + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints. + Experience with hand and power tools. + Mechanical inclination and the ability to work independently. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in light mechanical assembly and soldering. + Familiarity with electrical and mechanical assembly processes. + Hobby auto mechanics or medical assemblers looking for a career change are encouraged to apply. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Plans, and quarterly bonuses after your first year. The workspace is clean and well-conditioned, where gloves are worn during assembly to maintain product quality. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shakopee, MN. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.70 - $26.45/hr.
