**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler** **Shift:** **1st shift only** **Schedule:** **5am-3:30pm M-TH plus OT on Fridays as needed** **Location** **: Allen, TX** **Job Type** **: Temporary-to-Permanent** **Pay** **: $18.00-21.00/hour depending on experience** **Mechanical Assembler Responsibilities:** + Assembling and inspecting mechanical units: responsible for assembling and inspecting mechanical units, discovering any faults in the products, and fixing them before they reach consumers. + Use a variety of tools and equipment to cut, shape, and fit parts together. + Interpret technical documents, such as diagrams, blueprints, or other verbal or written instructions. + Perform quality checks to ensure that the assembled parts meet the required specifications and standards. + Utilize hand and power tools to complete work orders on time + Collect the material needed as stated in the production order + Produce the components according to the production drawings + Confirm the work done using SAP or other specific tools + Execute rework when necessary, according to instructions **Mechanical Assembler Qualifications:** + Ability to perform mechanical assembler positions within the department (mechanical assembly experience in assembly line REQUIRED) + Must exhibit excellent attention to detail; quality assurance experience is a PLUS + Must have basic familiarity with computers and computer use + Must have SAP experience + Ability to exert up to 50 lbs of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects + Ability to use hand and power tools such as screwdrivers, socket wrenches, hammers, pliers, impact wrenches, wire cutters, tape measure, and other job-related tools **Why Manpower?** + Free training to upgrade your skills, including a free college tuition program + Medical, dental, vision, 401k + Weekly pay with direct deposit + 24/7 Manpower customer care support + Voted #1 best places to work by Glassdoor 2021 **If these roles interest you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you ASAP to discuss this great opportunity.
