**Mechanical Assembler**
**Location: Boise, ID**
**Paying $19.50 - $21.50/ HR**
**Responsibilities:**
+ Will be assembling metal parts (extendobeds) from our welding shop into final product and crating it up for shipment. Extendobeds go into the back of police and fire vehicles that have drawers that hold all their supplies and tools.
+ Assembling includes drilling, sawing (metal and wood), riveting, using a variety of hand tools, light metal fabrication.
+ The position will install decks, drawers, slides and other accessories into the final product.
+ Need to have a good background in hand tools, power tools, tape measuring, and math.
+ Lifting up to 75 LBS.
+ An ideal candidate will be good with their hands and have done projects with power tools in the past.
+ They will be using a variety of hand tools such as panel saws, table saws, staple guns, drills etc.

**Environment / Shift:**
+ Welding/Fabrication shop - smaller shop that is split into separate bays where trailers and extendobeds are welded, fabricated, and then assembled.
+ Must wear Composite Toed shoes and safety glasses
+ Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 3:30pm some OT. Typically working 45-50 hours/week.
**Employee Value Proposition:**
+ Pay increases on contract - Start at $19.50/hour, after 30 days bumped to $20.50/hour, after 60 days bumped to $21.50/hour. Will be at $21.50 upon conversion.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $20.50/hr.
