The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for performing technical duties related to the manufacturing of driveshafts. This role involves operating various mechanical equipment, using hand tools, and ensuring the quality and productivity of the work performed.
ResponsibilitiesOperate mechanical equipment such as cut-off saws, welders, hydraulic presses, and balancers.Use hand tools to assemble driveshafts, ensuring all components are correctly fitted and secured.Utilize measuring devices, including tape measures and calipers, to ensure precision in assembly.Follow verbal and written instructions to interpret work orders and dimensional information.Perform testing and troubleshooting to ensure the driveshafts meet quality standards.Utilize production systems via computers, tablets, and scanners to track and manage workflow.Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or team leads.Continuously seek ways to improve processes and contribute to team goals.Maintain a clean and safe work environment.Utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as instructed.Follow all safety protocols and guidelines.
