**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler**
Job Description
Join our team to assemble small drones, measuring 3 feet or smaller, primarily for military and defense applications. This position requires standing throughout the day and utilizing small hand tools to assemble parts and sub-assemblies. Quality checks are an integral part of this role, ensuring that all components meet the necessary standards. Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude are essential.
Responsibilities
+ Assemble small drones for military and defense applications.
+ Stand on feet for extended periods while performing assembly tasks.
+ Utilize small hand tools to make and assemble parts and sub-assemblies.
+ Conduct quality checks on parts to verify proper construction.
+ Follow detailed checklists and procedures to ensure quality.
+ Maintain a high level of attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with medical assembly, medical devices, and hand tools.
+ Knowledge of UAV, UAS, drones, and related systems.
+ Familiarity with box builds, RC, MOS codes, and avionics.
+ Ability to work with small parts, small assemblies, and tight tolerances.
+ Experience in quality control and using calipers and micrometers.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Quality certifications such as TS16949, ISO 9001, AS 9100.
+ Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic assembly.
+ Military experience and knowledge of weapons systems and electrical systems.
+ Experience in avionics, RC hobbies, and medical device assembly.
+ Ability to follow detailed checklists and procedures.

Work Environment
The work environment is climate-controlled, relaxed, and clean, featuring individual workbenches. The position operates on the 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch and two 15-minute breaks. Overtime is expected.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
