**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler** Shift: 1st 6am - 2:30pm M-F, some mandatory Saturday work Pay: $16.50-$17.50 Location: Northside Jacksonville (32226) Job Description Join our team in the manufacturing and assembly of industrial power systems. You will be responsible for wiring the power systems and assembling electrical components. This role requires the ability to read schematics and engineering drawings, and proficiency in using hand and power tools such as power drills, wire crimpers, wire strippers, screwdrivers, hammers, and tape measures. The work environment is non-climate controlled, and you will be required to stand for the entire shift, occasionally standing on ladders as units can reach up to 8 feet in height. Responsibilities + Manufacture and assemble industrial power systems. + Wire power systems and assemble electrical components. + Read and interpret schematics and engineering drawings. + Utilize hand and power tools for assembly tasks. + Stand for the entire shift and work on ladders as needed. Essential Skills + Proficiency in using hand and power tools. + Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and schematic drawings. + Experience with wiring electrical components. + Ability to accurately read a tape measure. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High School Diploma or GED. + Experience in manufacturing, construction, handyman work, HVAC, automotive, or similar industries is a plus. Why Work Here? The shift runs from 6:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, and 6:00am to 12:30pm on Saturdays. Working on Saturdays is mandatory.
