Job Description

Join our team as an Assembler where you will have the opportunity to work on assembling forklifts, pallet trucks, or masts using blueprints, schematics, or verbal directions. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the quality and functionality of our products before they reach the final inspection area.

Responsibilities

Assemble forklifts, pallet trucks, or masts following blueprints, schematics, or verbal instructions.Operate an overhead crane to move larger parts or equipment.Perform functional tests and inspections to ensure product quality prior to delivery to the final inspection area.Assemble sub-assemblies and wiring harnesses and parts of the forklift.Maintain a clean and orderly workstation at all times.

Essential Skills

2-3 years of experience in mechanical assembly.2-3 years of hands-on automotive installation or repair experience.Strong knowledge of hand and power tools.Production experience in a fast-paced environment.Experience as an automotive technician in installation, repair, or assembly.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience as an automobile or truck mechanic preferred.Proficient computer skills.Attention to detail and quality.Demonstrate teamwork skills.Ability to work flexible hours and overtime on short notice.Ability to stand for an entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment

The work environment includes first shift hours from Monday to Thursday, 6am-4:30pm, with optional overtime on Friday and Saturday from 6am-2:30pm. Alternatively, there is a second shift from Monday to Thursday, 2pm-12:30am, without overtime. The facility is climate-controlled and requires adherence to safety protocols while working with various mechanical and electrical components.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Summerville, South Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
